We have an important update from the Keiser City Council regarding pet ownership within our city limits.

The City Council has extended the deadline for registration of certain dog breeds until the end of business day on June 6, 2023. This decision allows for a "grandfathering" clause for existing dog owners within our community.

The breeds included in this extension are:

• American Pit Bull Terrier

• Staffordshire Bull Terrier

• American Staffordshire Terrier

• American Bull Dog

• Rottweiler

• Doberman Pinscher

• Cane Corso

If you own a dog from one of these breeds, you are now given additional time to complete your pet's registration with the City Council.
