DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS

WATER TREATMENT & WASTEWATER OPERATOR

 

As you can see, I wear many hats in the City of Keiser. I have been the Public Works Director, as well as the water treatment operator and the wastewater operator for the City of Keiser for over 6 years. I am responsible for all property belonging to the City.

 

I received my Bachelor of Science double major in chemistry and biology from Southeast State University in Durant, Oklahoma. I also earned an associate degree in Real Estate Law.

 

I currently hold a Water Distribution Level 1, a Water Treatment Level 2, and a Wastewater Level 1 license that qualifies me in all areas of the City’s water production.

 

In my capacity as Director of Public Works, I supervise 1 full-time and 4 part-time city employees.

 

I am committed to ensuring the citizens of Keiser have access to a clean, healthy water supply. According to our latest report from the Arkansas Department of Health, we are successful in that endeavor.

 

My future goals for the city are to seek grants to finance the cleaning and painting of our water tank, and the upgrading of our filtration system.
